Guyana Mineral Mapping & Inventory

Global Venture was contracted by the Guyana Ministry of Natural Resources in support of the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) to lead a comprehensive Mineral Mapping and Inventory project to modernize Guyana’s geological data and support sustainable resource management.
By consolidating historical exploration records, integrating modern geospatial technologies, and updating Guyana's national mineral inventory, this initiative provides critical data for policy decisions and investment promotion. The work also supports Guyana’s Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS) by emphasizing low-impact exploration methods and ensuring data is accessible to both large-scale operators and local artisanal miners.
The mineral mapping and mineral inventory work is a cornerstone of Guyana’s push to attract responsible investment while empowering local miners with better data and training. The project helps reduce exploration risk for investors and supports sustainable development by identifying areas where low-impact mining can thrive.
Ultimately, this collaboration lays the foundation for a modern, inclusive, and environmentally responsible mining sector that balances economic growth, community benefits, and environmental protection.
Technical and Financial Advisory Work for Mining Investments in Afghanistan

Global Venture was engaged for advisory services through the USAID INVEST mechanism to rapidly close investment deals advancing Afghan energy and extractives sectors and leverage foreign investments. The objective of this activity was an agreement between both parties (international investor andAfghan recipient) and advance the closing of two investment deals in the extractives sector: a $136M USDCement Plan package and a $10M Chromite project equity investment.

Scope of this effort included reviewing and evaluating bid and negotiation packages for the Ministry of Mines andPetroleum, development of Project Development Plan and financial model, direct support to Ministry and negotiation team, and conducting landscape evaluation and market sounding with investors.
​
This activity also included the development and execution of the Central Asian Mining Forum, a mining-focused event in Tashkent, Uzbekistan for Afghan mining firms and Uzbek mining and service companies.
Market Analysis and Market Entry for South African Luxury Catamaran Manufacturers

In support of USAID’s Prosper Africa initiative, GV developed a market expansion strategy for South African boatbuilders to expand their presence in the U.S. luxury catamaran market. GV worked closely with SABBEX and Wesgro, who represent the interests of multiple South African boat builders.

GV performed a market assessment, market survey and using insights from that data, developed key recommendations and insights into expanding access into the U.S. luxury catamaran market.
​
Scope of this activity included identifying a market entry strategy to address consumer expectation gaps, marketing and branding strategies, and developing and distributing key findings to US and South African stakeholders.

Alaska Gold Exploration (Private Company)

Global Venture was hired by a private Alaskan gold company owned by a Family Office to prepare and execute a digital data review and exploration plan for the season at their Alaskan alluvial gold project.
​
Preparation for the season included a review of all available data on the prospect, direction on where to sample, how to sample, and the execution of approved exploration activities, including UAV surveys and fieldwork.
